Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Wayfind Grow (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). The Service is operated by Mayeux MD Inc., a Utah company (“we,” “us,” “our”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

Wayfind Grow is an AI-powered property advisor. It provides informational guidance about land management, crops, soil, weather, timing, and related topics based on the property details you provide.

Wayfind Grow is not a substitute for professional advice. The information provided by the AI is general and informational in nature. It is not agricultural, veterinary, structural engineering, legal, financial, or any other form of licensed professional advice. Always verify critical decisions — especially those involving chemicals, pesticides, animal health, structural work, or electrical systems — with qualified local professionals.

Wayfind Grow is currently in beta. This means the Service is provided “as is” without guarantee of uptime, feature availability, or data persistence. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features during the beta period. We will give reasonable advance notice of any significant changes.

While the Service is free during beta, we reserve the right to introduce paid tiers. Existing beta users will receive advance notice before any free access period ends.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You may not create accounts for others without their consent or share your credentials with others.

You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and property profiles. Deliberately false information that misleads the AI advisor or other users is a violation of these Terms.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service at scale
• Use the Service to generate content intended to mislead, harm, or defraud others
• Probe or test the security of the Service without written permission
• Use automated means to create accounts or submit queries in a way that disrupts the Service
• Upload images you do not own or have the right to use
• Upload images containing nudity, sexually explicit content, content depicting minors in any sexualized context, gore, weapons used to threaten, or other unlawful content
• Upload images containing personally identifiable information about other people without their consent

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

You retain ownership of all data you enter into Wayfind Grow — your property descriptions, plots, plantings, journal entries, conversation history, and any photos you upload. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and process this data for the purpose of providing the Service to you, including transmitting your content to the AI provider (Anthropic) to generate responses.

We do not claim any ownership interest in your property data, photos, or conversation history. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.

Wayfind Grow uses large language model AI to generate responses. AI systems can produce inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated information. Specifically:

• Planting advice is based on general zone and soil data, not real-time local conditions
• Pest, disease, and plant identification from text descriptions or uploaded photos can be incorrect — visual identification is especially error-prone for closely related species and early-stage diseases
• Daily morning briefings are AI-generated from your stored property context and forecast data, and may contain inaccuracies for the same reasons
• Chemical application rates and product recommendations should be verified against current label instructions
• Livestock health guidance is general information only — consult a licensed veterinarian for health concerns
• Structural, electrical, and building guidance is general information only — consult a licensed professional and verify local codes

We are continuously working to improve accuracy, but we make no warranty that any specific response is correct, complete, or appropriate for your situation.

The Wayfind Grow platform, including its code, design, branding, and non-user-generated content, is owned by Mayeux MD Inc. and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the platform without written permission.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mayeux MD Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service — including but not limited to crop loss, property damage, livestock harm, personal injury, or data loss — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or $50, whichever is greater).

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mayeux MD Inc. and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

You may close your account at any time from Settings → Danger Zonewithin the app. Account deletion is immediate and permanent — your profile, properties, plots, plantings, journal entries, chat history, briefings, and uploaded photos are all removed. Backups containing your data are purged within 30 days.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice depending on the severity of the violation.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Governing Law) will survive.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Utah, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
